Brave Notes is a local note-taking app. This policy explains how the app handles your information.

Your notes and app settings are stored locally on your device and used to provide the app’s note-taking features. Brave Notes does not transmit this information to the developer or operate a cloud storage or synchronisation service.

We do not collect personal information, note contents, device identifiers, or usage information from the app.

Data sharing

Brave Notes does not sell or share your personal information or note contents with the developer, advertisers, analytics providers, or other third parties.

Data retention and deletion

Locally stored information remains on your device until you delete it or clear the app’s storage through Android settings. Uninstalling the app removes its private local storage. Copies held outside the app, including any device backups, must be managed separately.

Your device’s operating system may back up or restore app data depending on your device settings and the app’s backup configuration. Brave Notes does not operate or control those backup services.

Security

Your information is protected by your device’s security features. We recommend using a screen lock and keeping your device updated. No storage method is completely secure.

Brave Notes does not collect personal information from users, including children.
